Chocolate Brownie with Maple Bacon Salted Caramel

INGREDIENTS

For the brownies (8 servings):

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 4 oz of melted butter

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup of flour

For the salted caramel sauce:

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add eggs to a bowl and, using a mixer, process until light and fluffy

  • Now add in the rest of the ingredients and mix to combine 

  • Add to a baking tray, and cook for 50 minutes on 300F

  • While the brownie is cooking - prepare your salted caramel sauce

  • Add the sugar to a pan, set on medium heat

  • Stir regularly

  • Clumps will start to form, and then the sugar will start to melt

  • When it melts completely - add in the butter

  • Mix nicely, for about a minute and then add in the heavy cream

  • Mix for another minute - now the sauce should be thick and shiny

  • Season with maple bacon sea salt

  • When the brownie is ready, leave it to coo for 10 minutes before cutting

  • Enjoy with salted caramel sauce
